3.2 Laser transmission and hardening head system

The function of the laser transmission system is to switch and transmit the laser beam emitted by the laser to the laser processing head. The light guide system consists of an optical fiber and a laser hardening head.

Fiber optic: During laser processing, the laser is transmitted to the hardening head through the fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cable LOE connector can be easily disassembled and replaced with different processing heads. The fiber optic cable has a complete self-protection function when transmitting energy. The specifications are as follows: core diameter of 400μm is optional, length of 10-20M, BPP * (1/e2) ≤ 5.0mm * mrad.

3.4 Laser hardening head (ZF-HH003A)

It is a cladding head suitable for medium and high power industrial applications, with diversified interface settings and optimized optical system design, so that it can be equipped with various fiber lasers. The paraxial broadband nozzle is matched to obtain higher cladding efficiency in the cladding process.

It uses a water-cooled aspheric copper mirror (integrating mirror) or a transmission quartz integrating mirror internally. By configuring different components, it can be used for high power laser hardening, surface treatment and cladding, as well as plastic welding, etc. The wide light spot can meet the requirements for unit power when processing large areas.

Functions and features

1) Over and under voltage protection: when the output voltage exceeds the over and under voltage value of the voltage regulator, the equipment is automatically protected and there is no voltage output;

2) Overcurrent protection: when the current exceeds the rated value, the input is automatically cut off;

3) Limit protection: automatically terminate the adjustment when the brush runs over the area;

3.6 PLC total control system

1) The control system adopts Siemens PLC controller, which is used to control lasers, powder feeders, chillers and other equipment. Set up a touch screen operation panel to display the operating status and fault type of each equipment in the workstation.

2) Touch screen main console, with alarm information display function, and set the workstation three-color light to indicate the working status, and use the fault sound and light alarm. At the same time, it is provided with pause and emergency stop buttons, which are placed in a prominent position on the control panel. Protective gas, cooling unit and laser are equipped with fault alarm.

4) The control system has a safety protection function. After an emergency stop or collision, the teaching device can be directly operated to start the laser and each axis of the robot without manual release.

5) Electrical control box wires, other cable colors are clearly marked, such as 24V wires only correspond to one color, 220V, 380V and other wires should be different colors, easy to maintain and repair. Bus communication uses standard communication cables. The electrical and electronic devices used by the equipment should comply with IEC international standards.

3.7 Robot (Fanuc M20i25D)

The robot system realizes the bearing of the motion trajectory of the laser processing head, realizes dual-station or multi-station processing, and improves the processing efficiency. This scheme is equipped with Fanuc's high-precision six-axis robot M20i25D, including the robot body, robot control cabinet, and teaching box.
