ZF-HH003A laser hardening working head is a laser hardening working auxiliary device designed and developed for high-power lasers with a wavelength of 900nm-1100nm. It is mainly used in high-power solid-state laser hardening application technology. The device has a QBH fiber interface, Cheating Software-style water cooling, and its Modularization structure not only has different combinations, but also can be easily adapted to specific machine tool forms and hardening applications. The maximum power is 8KW, and it adopts aberration optical design to ensure that the position and size of the focusing light spot are constant. It can be used for hardening processing applications of various metal materials.

1.2 Main Components

Collimation

The collimator of H003A has a QBH, LLK, or QD interface and can be connected to fiber optic plugs produced by different laser source manufacturers. By using an aperture adapter that adapts to the collimation focal length, scattering can be minimized.

The available collimation focal length depends on the type of laser.

 

Beam of light conduction

HH003A can be used with various modules/components to achieve linear or angular installation.

 

Focus

During the collimation process, H003A supports multiple focal lengths with different imaging ratios, such as 250mm, 300mm, and 400mm (depending on the focusing lens).

 

Best quality beam of light

High-quality optical components ensure that ZF-H003A can obtain the best beam of light quality. During operation, under high-power beam of light, users must also use water cooling to limit the operating temperature of the optical components to ensure the best beam of light quality.

During the laser hardening process, metal spatter and smoke will be generated, which will contaminate the optical components of the hardening head, cause deformation, and also cause the temperature of the hardening head to rise or even damage. In severe cases, it may cause damage to the optical fiber. The optical components will be deformed by contamination, which will affect the laser beam of light forming (such as focus drift), resulting in a significant decrease in power and affecting the hardening effect. Therefore, the user must use a compensation gas module and air curtain to protect the optical components. The compensation gas must be output before the hardening operation and can only be turned off after a certain period of time after the hardening operation is completed.


1.2 Protective Equipment

The hardening head can prevent the rise of equipment temperature and exacerbate the damage of optical components by installing the following equipment:

Optical component water cooling device;

Placed in a box-type replaceable protective window.

Smoke and splash protection system or air curtain (supersonic nozzle)

Protective gas supply device; side shaft or coaxial. (This product is side shaft protective gas)

By adopting the above method, the maintenance interval of the equipment can be extended, the damage of optical components can be reduced, and the consistency of hardening can be obtained during the hardening process.

Water cooling device

The inlet/outlet of the cooling water is Φ6/Φ4mm. The cooling water flows in a stainless steel loop, which can directly or indirectly cool the optical components.

Protective window

The protective window integrated in the protective mirror box matches the hardening head to protect the focusing lens from contamination.

 

Air curtain

The air curtain can reduce the pollution level of the protective window during the hardening process. Its working principle is to effectively deflect various substances thrown from the molten pool by the supersonic airflow at an angle with the laser beam, thereby avoiding pollution to the focusing lens. At the same time, the gas flowing through the air curtain also has a certain cooling effect on the hardening head, preventing the molten pool from transferring more heat to the hardening head.
